Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 14, 2026
1. Local-First Client Architecture
TradingPlanz is designed as a local-first web application. All your settings, custom checklist templates, routine configurations, calendar rules, and daily trade logs are stored locally on your device via your web browser's localStorage database.
We do not transmit, upload, store, or process your trade data on external servers. Everything resides strictly on your machine.
2. Database Backups & Portability
Because your data remains strictly local, we provide an import/export tool in your dashboard settings. You can download your complete system configuration as a JSON file and back it up or restore it manually. We have no ability to recover lost local data.
3. Third-Party Integrations
Our application queries open economic calendar sources to load events. When fetching this data, your browser sends requests directly to the calendar providers. These external services may record standard server log information (e.g. IP addresses, browser agents).
If you submit a message using our Contact Us form, your inquiry is securely processed using Web3Forms. They temporarily process your name, email, and message to deliver it directly to our team.
4. Cookies
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. We use standard browser local storage configurations only to persist your interface theme preference (light/dark mode) and your trading setup profiles.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Since your data is stored locally, any changes in policy will only relate to updates on how our static application files are served and executed.
